Gmc Z 1999 GMC Pickup Shutters When Shifting Into And Out Of Overdrive.?

1999 GMC Pickup shutters when shifting into and out of overdrive.? - gmc z

I have a 1999 GMC Z-71 with a V8 327ci engine and 4 speed automatic transmission. One hesitates / blinds when moving into and out of overdrive. The fluid is removed and replaced, and is the appropriate level. Truck has no other symptoms. Ideas?

You can use a bad "bad" modulation (PWM pulse width) solenoid valves. $ 50 to the Agency for the solenoid valve and is simpler than the tranny fluid to install (plug-in is a unit). This may not be the problem, not reuse, but for $ 50 (plus the liquid are old) worth a try.

The converter is also captured, but less likely. He has a look at the tranny shop ...

Good luck

Def sounds like the torque converter. This is basically your overdrive and one of the trans and engine. Current portion $ 100 - $ 200, but all the data an estimate of time of about 8 hours.
